Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, around a central depiction of a monoplane flying over a rural landscape, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, bearing an engraved owners name of WILLI REIBER, 14. 2. 17, measuring 45. 16 mm (w) x 70. 24 mm (h),
