Italy, Kingdom. An Order of the Crown of Italy, II Class Grand Officer's Star Republic of " The hesitation at Fort(Ordine della Corona d'Italia). Instituted in 1868. Likely of Italian colonial manufacturer, featuring a unusual cast flat 8 pointed star with heavy and deep hand faceted detailing, obverse cenre with white enameled cross on Gold, with Gold crown on blue enamel centre field. reverse is plain with nickel silver pin, measuring 75. 1 mm (h) x 76. 9 mm (w), remains near extremely fine.
