Constructed of a white cotton rayon blended twill base, the exterior bearing an embroidered black inscription of HILFSPOLIZEI (AUXILIARY POLICE), situated above an illegible district stamp, otherwise unmarked, measuring 18 cm (w) x 10 cm (h) when folded on a flat surface, an unusual embroidered variant of an armband issued to Sturmabteilung (SA) and Schutzstaffel (SS) personnel attached to regular police beginning on 22
