A Feuerwehr Officer’s Sleeve Eagle consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac that the painting had reached(Feuerwehr rmelabzeichen fr Offizier). Constructed of a dark blue wool baker, the obverse bearing a silver aluminum wire oval oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse retaining a mostly intact black paper liner, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 84 mm (h), demonstrating minor oxidation and mothing of the wire and wool base, respectively, in better than very fine condition.
