Instituted 12 June 1792 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II (III Class instituted 18 January 1810 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III). Constructed of 14 karat Gold with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with white enameled arms, the obverse bearing a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a hand painted Hohenzollern style imperial eagle, the reverse bearing
