Germany, Weimar Republic. A 1921 Upper Silesia Plebiscite Badge certificate_of_authenticity the ends of the sweatband(Volksabstimmung in Oberschlesien Abzeichen). Constructed of blackened iron, horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of a wreathed cross overlaid by a date of 20. MRZ 1921 and a hammer and pickaxe, flanked by letters OS (Oberschlesien), unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), some oxidation evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
