VARTENISSIAN, Shakeh Autographs Singers 50 or less U-V to the librettist and writerSoprano (1924 2003), most likely of Armenian origin but variously reported as of Turkish, Syrian, or Lebanese descent. Signed photograph, shown in role (possibly Massenet's Manon), inscribed and dated in 1957. Stamped on verso by photographer Sedge Le Blang, Metropolitan Opera, New York. Size is 8 x 10 inches, small creases on top left and right, otherwise in excellent condition.
