Russia, Imperial. A Franco-Prussian War Of 1870-1871 Cross Of St. George, Type Iii, Ii Class Silver Grade, German-Manufactured For German Troops Archive North Chester and 2nd Western( ). Instituted in 1807. In silver, unmarked, German manufactured, as awarded to German troops, the reverse number engraved "32" and "116" on the reverse of the arms at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock respectively, measuring 34. 7 mm (w) x 39. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, the arms with a dark patina, exhibiting light contact and tarnishing overall, sewn in place to an original period ribbon, better than very fine.
