A cloth version of the Iron Cross, I Class, the obverse is constructed of fine hand embroidered twisted silver aluminum bullion threading forming the signature white metal cross patte with a grey woven core replacing the blackened iron core, with a raised central mobile swastika and the re institution date 1939 on the lower arm, on a white wool background with a preserved black paper backer, measuring 48 mm (w) x 47 mm
