A Rare Student League (Studentenbund) 2Nd Pattern Belt Buckle; Published Example Newly Listed properly fitted and very fineSilvered die stamped aluminum, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) and maker marked "M4 38" (Richard Sieper & Shne, Ldenscheid) on the reverse, 48. 2 mm x 64. 8 mm, with only very light contact, near mint. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 307 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
