Germany, Luftwaffe. An Emnco’s Winter Field Cap Hold marked on reverse Ernst L(Luftwaffe Pelzmtze). A well preserved Luftwaffe EM NCOs winter field cap, constructed of multi piece sheepskin. The exterior is composed of the natural hide, presenting with a whitened finished for optimal winter camouflage. Stitched onto the peak of the exterior is an insignia consisting of a dark grey wool base overlaid by a machine embroidered silver grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, measuring 70 mm (w) x 40 mm (h).
