An 1938 Pattern Luftwaffe Enlisted Man's/Nco's Belt Buckle; Published Example Archive and Metz barsIn stamped aluminum, with stamped aluminum face plate affixed by four tabs, unmarked reverse, with what Angolia states "the eagle is set low within the laurel leaves wreath, and has pronounced wing up turn", measuring 48. 8 mm x 63 mm, lightly worn, extremely fine. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 135 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection. Footnote: From
