Contact marks, very fine. Accompanied by a copy of his Service Records. Footnote: Gunner George William Gobby, Royal Marines was born in Clerkenwell, London, England in July 1873. He enlisted for service as a Private (4522) with the Royal Marines on February 25, 1892 in London, at the age of 18, stating his religion as Church of England and his trade as that of Labourer. After
