Martin, Jean-Blaise - Autograph Letter Signed 1817 Programs Opera Signed on stationary of Britten andFrench "baryton martin" i. e. a singer whose tessitura lies between baritone and tenor (1768 1837), who later taught singing at the "Conservatoire de Musique" of Paris, from 1825 to 1837. Created some 15 roles in operas by various composers including Nicholas Dalayrak, Andre Gretry and Etienne Mehul.
