They straddled a line between goth rock and hard rock, which helped them gain a following both in their hometown and in the US. The band, which is still together to this day and still led by Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy, have released ten albums to date, most of them produced by Bob Rock, like 1989's Sonic Temple. That record, their fourth, was released by Beggars Banquet and has since been
