Beautiful signed cabinet photo by W. Hoffert, showing him as Hans Sachs in Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg in Bayreuth Festival, one of his best roles. Blind stamped with the year 1899. Van Rooy also wrote a short line from the opera, and the date in 1901. Size is 4. 25 x 6. 5 inches, in excellent condition.
