Potent ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas drive the nose with dark plum, vanillin cedar, earth, dark chocolate and spice ensuing. Lavish dark plum, blackberry and liquorice flavours engulf the full bodied palate with scorched vanillin cedar, earth, traces of fennel and spicy pepper the back drop. A rich opulent mouthfeel is framed by sturdy tannins which impart some chewiness to the finish.
