Constructed of lacquered and patinated feinzink, the obverse bearing a central raised NSFK insignia, topped by dates 2. U. 3. 3. 1940, circumscribed by an inscription of SKIWETTKMPFE DES NS FLIEGERKORPS, ZELL AM SEE (SKI COMPETITION OF THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST FLYERS CORPS, ZELL AM SEE), the reverse with a raised and detailed depiction of a skier, unmarked, measuring 82 mm in diameter, some
