E VERNIER 1917" on the obverse, 36. 8 mm, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, embossed "VERDUN" on the lid, recessed medal bed, case very fine. Accompanied by its Letter of Authenticity from the Town Council of Verdun, ripped along foldmarks, document fine.
