Melchior, Lauritz - Signed Photo in Tristan und Isolde Autographs Singers 50 or less I shown as Sportin' Life inDanish (and later American) tenor (1890 1973), signed photo postcard, shown as Tristan, one of his greatest roles, at the Bayreuth Festival in 1931. Melchior was the pre eminent Wagnerian tenor of the 1920's to the 1940's and is considered by many to remain unsurpassed. Size is 3. 6 x 5. 6 inches in excellent condition.
