Germany, Ordnungspolizei. A M42 Steel Helmet, By Eisenhüttenwerk Thale Archive 1918 to January 5(Ordnungspolizei Stahlhelm). This is a very well preserved Ordnungspolizei M42 steel helmet, constructed of a black painted magnetic metal shell. The helmet is flanked on each side by an integrated ventilation hole, while three rivets are evenly distributed around the circumference of the helmet, securing the interior features in place. It is also flanked on each side by decals. The right decal consists of a red shield overlaid by a white disc, in
