Wwii Royal Engineers Officer's Side Cap Newly Listed and his Iron Cross documentWWII Royal Engineers Officer's Side Cap This side cap has a finely textured black wool upper, with black wool fold down panels held up via hook and eye closures on either side, the end straps secured at the front with two small, brass WWII Royal Engineers insignia buttons. The top of the cap is trimmed in two rows of gold bullion wire piping along the two peak edges. There is a traditional 40. 5 mm x 54 mm Ubique exploding bomb insignia sewn in place
