Romania, Kingdom. An Order of the Romanian Star, Knight’s Cross with Swords Hold 7 for the Austrian occupation(Ordinul Steaua Romaniei). Instituted in 1877 by Prince Carol I. Type II (1932 1947). Military Division. In bronze gilt, a blue enamelled cross with eagles in each quadrant, swords pierce the central medallion, the obverse medallion features the cypher of Carol I, surrounded by a blue enamel ring inscribed IN FIDE SALUS, encircled by a green enamelled wreath, the reverse medallion features the year 1877 on a red enamel field, surrounded by a green
