with some age-appropriate material fatigue visible to the scabbard leather
Germany, Luftwaffe. An Officer’s Brocade and Buckle, by F.W. Assmann & Söhne Auction with "Q69" stamped on the(Luftwaffe Paradefeldbinde fr Offiziere). A Luftwaffe Officers brocade and buckle, the former constructed of dark grey wool with a subtle whipcord weave and reinforced core, topped by a layer of silver aluminum wire, bisected by a central red threaded tresse which is in turn flanked by machine embroidered dark grey threaded borders, with dual sliding knots of identical construction, one end retaining a hidden leather tongue perforated with seven sets
