The Table of Contents appears at the back of the book
and carries a facsimile signature of Reich Marshal Hermann Göring
suspended from arabesques and a carefully etched hollow crown and loop for suspension
edged by bright orange Waffenfarbe piping

In silvered bronze and black enamels, unmarked, voided, measuring 59. 5 mm (w) x 75. 6 mm (h), both lugs intact, very fine. Footnote: The Algonquin Regiment originated on July 1, 1900 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario as the 97th Regiment of Rifles. Sub units were located in Thessalon, Sudbury and Sturgeon Falls. It was re designated on June 1, 1903 as the 97th Regiment (Algonquin Rifles); re designated on May 1, 1920 as The Algonquin
