Pair of violet enamelled palm branches, on a purple ribbon, 28. 2 mm (h) x 20 mm (w) very fine condition. 2, 3. Miniature palm branches on a purple ribbon with diamonds, 14. 7 mm (h) x 9 mm (W), very fine condition. Footnote: The Order for Academic Palms was instituted 17th of March 1808 by Emperor Napoleon to honour eminent members of the University of Paris.
