The record was a huge hit both commercially and critically. It was nominated for multiple Grammys and went three times Platinum. In 1991, the band went on an extensive run they dubbed the Building Empires tour in support of the album. This was the beginning of the band's mainstream success, which they have held on to ever since. They are still active
