A collection of personal belongs of Edmund Leier that were recovered from his deceased body following a localized fire-exchange between his tank destroyer unit and a French  unit

consisting of 1) A Wehrmacht Long Service Medal ribbon with Hoheitszeichen for 12 Years of Service

His appreciation of the situation throughout and the reports rendered by him were invaluable to his Commanding Officer in making dispositions of troops to hold the position captured

An extremely well preserved Feuerschutzpolizei (Fire Protection Police) Officers visor cap, constructed of dark blue doeskin wool. The cap features reinforced side walls, fully lined on the exterior with a black doeskin wool cap band. A band of carmine red piping fully lines the circumference of the crown, with additional bands of identical piping trimming both the top and bottom of the cap band.
