A German Cavalry Officers M38 Overseas Cap certificate_of_authenticity 1916 in ErieA very good quality cap, M38 pattern, field grey wool construction Officers cap features fold down with scalloped design to the front side panels. Both the crown edges and the front scalloped side panels piped in shiny silver aluminum braiding. The front of the cap has a machine woven Army eagle in silvery wires; below the eagle is zinc Totenkopf (added later); below small Totenkopf is a cockade below, in silvery wires and black red threads; both
