Five Second War Medal Pairings Auction The Battalion embarked Canada MayEach pairing includes the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, two of which have an Overseas Bar; and the War Medal 1939 1945. All ten medals are in silver, ranging from 36 mm to 36. 5 mm in diameter, with original ribbons, three pairs are mounted with a swing bar pinback, the other two pairs are court mounted, one with a pinback, the other with two screwposts and nuts, ranging from near very fine to extremely fine.
