Type II, A fine quality jeweller made example of this award, constructed of gilded silver, the obverse consisting of a green enamelled Cross Patte with vaulted arms with a central red enamelled medallion bearing a golden rampant lion, surrounded by a band of white enamels inscribed with (God with Us) in Bulgarian with laurels at the base, the reverse with a central white enamelled medallion inscribed 19 1878
