Ancona, Mario - Signed Photo Postcard 1910 Autographs Actresses - Letter U-V-W Stamped on verso by photographerItalian baritone (1860 1931), starred as Silvio in the world premiere of Leoncavallo's Pagliacci. Signed photo postcard, shown in role (possibly Wolfram in Wagner's Tannhauser), signed at Covent Garden, London, dated in 1910. Inscription and signature on verso (text is in Italian). Size is 3. 5 x 5. 5 inches, noticeable wear on corners of photo, not affecting the image, verso some browning but not affecting the handwriting and signature.
