Oregon Black Agate w Plume and Marcasite Cabbing Rough Flatrate Lapidary Stone Piranha Agate though the general leading theoryThis is a Black Oregon Agate from near Prineville, Oregon. This material is from an old estate sale. So far as I know, it was never mined or marketed. It does have some really nice looking plume and marcasite in some of it, but it is hard to photograph due to the darker color scheme and the poor lighting here. I have not worked any, so I'm unsure of how it does. It appears solid, but some voids are present. These could however be incorporated for a
