Japan, Empire. An Order of the Rising Sun, IV Class with Diplomatic Case Archive 3 mm (w) x 48, Kyokujitsu sh). Institution Date: April 10, 1875 by Emperor Meiji A IV class Order of the Rising Sun, in silver with a red glass centerpiece and a white enamelled star. The star is affixed to an enamelled Paulownia flower suspension consisting of three groupings of purple flowers counting 5,7,5.
