Buster A161992 Medium image: 15”HThe artist digitally alters her photographs utilizing patterns she creates. Using a large format inkjet printer, the design is printed onto organic cotton. The textile is then machine quilted. The horse, Buster is from SMILES, an equine therapeutic organization located in Darien, WI. A piece of industrial velcro is sewn to the top of the back of the quilt. A corresponding piece of velcro accompanies the work and can be nailed to the wall with small
