40's 50’s High Waist Fit & Flare Butterfly Skirt geometric bag 5-pocket style with the hammerHomemade, very full skirt has a very high & wide waistband that ties in a bow in front. Hooks close it. Retro butterfly border print, lightweight cotton, colors can be Autumnal or Spring Summer. Very full skirt is 140" around. No hem! This was cut on the selvedge and it was once shorter! It's very possible this is a playskirt from the later 40s, as it was found with 30s & 40s clothing. The only flaw is the obvious fading, which adds to its retro charm
