Jumping Beans Product:Jumping Beans Size 1 Front Length: 26Color is the first step in Cindy Grisdela's artistic process, putting fabrics together the way a painter might use paint. She then cuts shapes freehand with a rotary cutter, allowing her to engage in a direct dialog with her materials. Finally, she adds stitching lines, whose texture adds dimension and tactile energy to each piece. "Jumping Beans" is part of a series of minimalist designs that focus on large shapes and the negative space between them.
