Keltisch bijlamulet, brons Alle tassen In 1796 the British ArmyDit bijlamulet is een miniatuurreproductie van een keltische praalbijl. De ranke vorm van de bijlsteel maakt duidelijk dat dit type bijl niet voor praktisch gebruik bedoeld was, maar uitsluitend een ceremonile of rituele functie had. Praalbijlen van dit type golden binnen de Keltische wereld als statussymbool en werden vermoedelijk gebruikt tijdens rituele handelingen. Massief gegoten uit fijne sieraadbrons, ca. 2,5 x 6 cm.
