The beautiful band was woven using a backstrap loom, and the beads were hand stitched. In the Kalinga tribal culture, beads are very important and sacred. The precious beads were kept as family heirlooms, handed down from generation to generation and were used to adorn traditional attires to signify status and wealth. Nowadays, the Kalinga artisans
