It is based on an archaeological textile discovery from Pskov, Russia, attributed to a Viking dress from the 10th century. The chemise is made of cotton and has side panels (gores) that give the garment a generous width. The neck and sleeves have drawstrings with which you can tie the dress to own size adjusts.
