Back mechanism beautifully displayed on the back of the frame. You can see the little parts working on the back when the watch is wound up. Super, super cool piece. This is wind up watch that has to be wound up to work. It does keep time, although I am not sure for how long as it has to be wound up quite frequently. Nice, rich gold,
