Thinning the oils and painting on smooth plexiglass allows the artist to combine the vibrancy of an oil painting with the flow and blend of a watercolor. There is a spontaneity and grace to this technique that I find in no other medium. As the brush quickly moves across the smooth surface it deposits the intense
