Puli Puli Fabric - Pink and Gold on Burnt Orange (Silk) 50cm Clothes ‘Watiya Tjuta’ Napurrula’s fatherThis design by Keturah Zimran OAM depicts the puli puli (rocks) at two Country sites: Haasts Bluff, where she grew up, and Karrkurrutintja (Lake McDonald) on the Western Australia Northern Territory border an important site of the Pilkati (snake) Tjukurrpa of Kaniya Kutjarra (two carpet snakes, two brothers). This story was passed down through her grandmother Narputta Nangala Jugadai and mother Molly Jugadai, both founding members of Ikuntji Artists.
