A prototype for the Stanier-designed LMS Inspection Saloon was built in 1940 and the LMS would go on to build a further 13 production vehicles in two lots
the model has coin and notes boxes
Whilst not having the greatest turn of speed (approximately 36mph top speed) these small locos proved capable of pulling a constant draw weight and were considered ideal for shunting in yards and providing motive power along smaller branch lines
This is new tooling for a baggage car on the Zittau Narrow Gauge Railroad
