The estate was founded in the 1920s by Lon Coche, who purchased vineyard plots and initially sold grapes to ngociants while bottling a small amount himself. In 1964, his son Georges Coche took over his share of the vineyards, expanding holdings and strengthening the domaine. Georgess son Jean Franois Coche assumed control in
