Aruna Earrings P09617-P00012 Uniquely fabricated by repeatedly rollingOnce completed, these earrings reminded the artist of a lunar surface, so she gave them the name, Aruna. This is a name of Japanese origin that means moon love. Poetic and timeless, these earrings are made of hand carved wax that has been cast into sterling silver and oxidized or darkened. The beads in between the two oxidized sections were carved in wax using a method known as lathing and then cast in 18k yellow gold. The earrings have posts that are
